Considering removing Pickup covers....

How would this affect the sound of a pickup such as, let's say, a 498t? Any improvement in tone? I would only do this for the way it sounds, not how it looks. Thanks.

You'd probably get a little more output and top end, as for better tone, well that depend on your idea of good tone I suppose :burnout:
