So about a month ago I got your help in choosing a neck pickup for shred to go with my distortion bridge in my LP studio.
The output is pretty much where I want it, and the tone is nice an smooth. However, it does sound a bit inorganic in the sense that I really don't hear much texture, and after playing it for a while I've come to find it is a little dark compared to the distortion bridge. I'm wondering if like an a5 or other magnet would help it with these issues without too much compromise.
Also it has a satin gold cover which matches my distortion's cover worse than I thought when buying it. Since I would remove the cover for a magnet swap anyways, I'd like to put on a new glossy gold cover. The thing is, I'm unable to find a glossy gold Dimarzio cover with 12 holes on top for the screws the Titan has. Would you happen to know where I can get one (perhaps a different cover manufacturer?)
Thank you!
