if I recall correctly, you can change between two channels on an amp with the gt-8, but not 3 channels like the JSX.

i remember looking into this thing to hook up to my jsx.. the channel switching feature doesnt work with the jsx though so your outta luck..
i went with the tc electronic g major instead and it makes my amp sound effin good.

Both the G Major and the GT-8 can channel switch amps via 1/4" jack. The JSX uses a DIN connector for its footswitch.
Axess Electronics makes a box that basically converts whatever connector you use on your amp to a midi signal that can then be used to switch channels on your amp. Is the GT-8 capable of doing these program changes via midi?
