convert broken crybaby to expression pedal?

I went a lil beyond my budget to score a Way Huge Ringworm and I want to use the Expression Pedal Input for maximum psychedelia. Am I wrong in assuming I can rewire this dead Crybaby to work? Any of you guys know a schematic for such a mod?

Hmmm interesting. Anybody know if the pot in a normal Crybaby is 100k linear?

Some quick googling lead me to think "yes"... so in theory I should be able to rewire my dead wah as described in the manual there and be good to go ja?

I've seen +5v control signals on other stuff, but I'm not sure how it works. The expression pedal jack on the Ringworm puts out +5v DC to the expression pedal (on the ring), which acts as a voltage divider and kicks back a variable voltage from the wiper on the tip -- I think. If so, you'd need a TRS jack on the Crybaby and a TRS-TRS cable between them.

That's what I think happens. Trying it that way shouldn't fry anything.
