On lee jackson's website I found old pics of ZW from 87ish using marshall 2555s that looked like they had been mooded by Lee. It had the metalronix logo over the marshall 100/50 logo. I always thought he was a 2203 user.
In velevet revolver video for come on come in the video starts on slash's amp and its a jcm 900 of some type. It's funny 'cause I was shocked not to see his slash head there.
Not like it's a big deal but it's funny to see when you're so used to seeing the usual stuff back there.
If you check out some VR live stuff on youtube its amazing to hear how clean slash's tone is now a days. During the GNR toyko dvds his tone is way way more distorted and compressed. My favorite tone imho.
