A player's dream!
Rare 1997 Samick "Artist Series" Les Paul in killer Green Sparkle! Made in Korea by the very same hands that produced the most desirable Epiphones from that period! Anyone who knows about these Samick "Artist Series" models knows just how nice they are...high quality construction, super resonant, nicely balanced and very well finished!
This guitar plays great and sounds/feels incredible! I picked it up on a whim because it just felt "right"! I wasn't actually looking for a Les Paul type guitar at all, but I couldn't resist the cool green sparkle and the great feel the guitar has. I can promise you, if I was into Les Pauls and looking for a solid everyday player, I would keep it without question. Unfortunately, I'm a "V" guy at heart, so on it goes...
This guitar is in really nice shape overall with a couple small impressions along the edge and some light belt marking on the back being the worst of any cosmetic "issues". The frets are in excellent shape with very little wear. The hardware is in great shape for its age and the tuners were recently upgraded to very high quality Kluson types for a more stock appearance and better tuning (the previous owner had installed some cheaper aftermarket tuners on when I got it). The toggle switch, pots and all wiring was recently replaced and the pickups were upgraded to a set of brand new "Alnico Classic" models that turned out to be the perfect match for this guitar...it sounds incredible!
All in all, this guitar is a great looker and an really nice player! I'm happy to take some nicer pictures if anyone here is seriously interested.

Just a quick pic to give you an idea (it'll look even better cleaned up!):
