Cool Rails or Lil' 59 for slanted neck slot

The guitar I'm planning to mod has a 24 fret neck-thru-body construction with a mahogany body and flamed maple top with a 3-piece maple neck and Macassar ebony fingerboard. Floyd Rose bridge and volume tone. Bridge pickup will be a Custom 5 trembucker.

Mainly playing hard rock / metal / gothic metal in E standard.

Fluid, cramy lead tones are a must, but good, present cleans are also needed.

Was considering the Cool Rails for the neck, which I already have on another guitar, a bolt on, 24 fret, poplar body Jackson Dinky with a Floyd Rose. So, I'd like to try something new (the Lil' 59), but since the neck pickup pocket is slanted as in a Strat bridge, I'm concerned about dropout while bending, since that pickup has tiny screws.

Any ideas about which pickup will be best suited for my needs?

If you want something a little creamier than the Cool Rails, look at the Lil Screamin Demon.

I think rails will be more fluid and creamy than the mini screws. The Hot Rails is a touch hotter and fatter.

I believe you, Mincer, but its looks are not to my liking. Also, judging by the sound samples on the product page, the cleans don't seem to be what I'm looking for...

That's my conclusion from the Cool Rails already own on my Dinky. Never tried a pickup with mini screws, though.

On the Hot Rails, I own a bridge version on an ash bodied, maple neck and fretboard ESP LTD strat copy, and while wih gain it sounds awesome, the cleans are just not existing, it just crunches. Judging by the product page sound samples, the neck versions may but too hot for the cleans sounds I'm looking for.

I guess the Cool Rails is taking the lead for my decision...

No prob. The neck hot rails is smooth and clean if you wanted something different.

The Cool Rails is sort of like a Jazz humbucker, so you can know what to expect.

True, I was just trying to have different Duncans on all my guitars. Since the guitar comes stock with a black neck Hot Rails, and I want a cream neck pickup, I'll give it a try if it works for me. If not, since I'll be going with another color, probaably the CR will be my best bet.
