I almost shat myself when I saw those Brian May Special copies they have for $399. I've always wanted one of those. But I think the Eastwood Del Ray and Airline guitars make me GAS to no end.

Also, they're having a logo contest where you can submit your design and they will use it on their guitars and site as the new official Eastwood logo! I gave it a go, but I doubt I'll have a chance because the contest ends Saturday, and I only found out about the site this afternoon :yell: Winner gets a free Eastwood guitar of choice and runners up are entered into a drawing for a free amp.

Oh well, at least I had fun making this thing :)

Cool! They even have my first guitar, which I bought for $50 around 1983-1984 (Zen-On):

MP those make the nastiest slide guitars.

Man I really those Eastwoods, a local shop carries them by me and they are cool, so are the Hallmarks. I love the Airline and Teisco knock-offs whenever i see them I go a little nutty. Get me a little Rat Pack hat and an extra pinky and I could fulfil a long time desire to go under the name Hounddog.

There's something about that extra little pinky that makes it! :)

You'll need the extra pinky with all the knobs on that 2nd one!

they were pretty much nasty guitars overall!

Ugh, I remember I didn't know a thing about electric guitars at all when I bought that thing. I knew I needed an amp, so I got an adapter cord and tried playing it through my parents stereo. Blech! I wanted a distorted sound, but I didn't know anything about distortion or overdrive...I thought it was all about try to make the strings buzz....

I took it apart years ago with the idea of buying a nice neck and making some weird Frankenstein guitar out of it. I never got that far. I do remember that the body was made out of plywood.
