Did you mean the Standard and the Z?

Yes, because of the Pickups and wieghts of the wood. The Hamer is a one piece Honduran Mahogany with nice body rings and the Z is Mahogany but differantly grain so I'm not sure where it is from. Dean seems a lil thicker sounding and wieghs 9.5 lbs while the Hamer wieghs about 8.5 lbs on my Wallymart hanging fish scale. Hamer has original Dimarzio "Hamer wind speced" PAFs, supposedly slightly hotter PAFS, and the Dean has orginal era Super Distortion Dimarzios in it.

Nice collection of the old photos because these photos is asset of the guitarist..What is the actual weight of the wood and which scale are you used for the measurement of the weight?
