Sykes is so awesome. Great songwriter, amazing technician. To me, he was "Zakk" before Zakk. The vibrato, the alternate picking......it's just nuts.

Heh...John Sykes runs circles around Zakk, IMO (and a whole lotta other players :laugh2: )

That was a very cool concert...I'm actually surprised they did "this is the one"...."sun goes down" was awesome...Scott played a great solo and then John as well. I don't think he was the best fit for Lizzy (though he was a HUGE improvement over Snowy White ), but it gave him the exposure he needed.

and you could hear the "woowoo" developing in his technique :laugh2:
