Copper tape glued to aluminum

Hi!
Can i put copper tape on aluminum? This usually applies to pickguards in Strat where there is a partial aluminum shield.
In electrical engineering such connections are not allowed due to corrosion. But it is a shielding through which no current flows, so?
Best regards

What do you mean by this?

I am an electrician. If you connect copper to aluminum directly, corrosion will occur, the joint will heat up, and eventually fail.
In such connections, special al/cu or stainless steel washers are used.
I was curious if such a phenomenon also occurs in the guitar, where the current flowing through the shield is almost equal to 0.

The voltage of the shielding of a guitar is too low to heat up

Your main concern is contact

Which shouldn't be a problem
