I played one not a month ago.
I felt is was just "meh", and the Diesel VH-4 blew it away.
You have to keep in mind the kind of music I play, too, however ...

I plugged into one once, and it was decent but kinda looked ugly. Just my 2 cents.
It may be worth your while to grab a Bogner 1-12 Shiva combo with either tube type for around $1300 used. A couple days ago I saw a mint one pop up on Ebay for the giveaway price of $1000 BIN. I flinched, but let it pass. 1 minute later, someone grabbed it.

I agree, I thought the build quality wasn't all that, either.
In that price bracket, a used Budda will positively RIP as well.
