Hi guys ,i heard the mk 50 and it blew me away.Does anybody have this babay or had any cornford?Are they reliable and stable amps?How are the cabinets?

Wanting to buy one also; A Harlequin
they said it, its too expensive despite being a boutique amp.
It doesn't utilize PCB or any of those. thats what makes it special

My understanding was that Clapton had been using Cornfords, but by the time of the Cream reunion, he had switch over to the '57 Twin RI. That is what the web site said and that was coming from his tech. Everything at the Albert Hall shows was ONE Twin except for the encores where he used two. Had two for backup.

Yep, the Cornford RK100 is his signature amp.
Haven't played one for myself but I haven't heard a single bad review yet.

thnx guys!!.its a real cool amp for 1400 euros wich is really "O.K" price for a botique amp!!.and i heard the malmsteen solos on it.real fascinating!!!

Yess i can get it since i live in Germany,But most important thing for me for an Amp is the "tone".i have a quite strong imagination of a tone that i want to get.And Cornford is real close to it.Not to mention Diezel Herbert ,but there are 1500 euros gap between both amps.So my amp dilemma will be always "harder" to solve:blackeye: since the PowerBall and the Orange AD 50 has the same style of distortion.

with a single channel amp, how would you switch from clean to full gain without an OD or dist pedal?
i don't think you can really get a "clean" tone by just rolling down the volume of the guitar.
or maybe these guitarists would always have two amps - 1 for clean and 1 for full gain dist?
