Correct HSH Pickup wiring diagram 2 tone push/pull pots

This is my first time wiring push/pull pots with my SD pickups. I found the below diagram online and just wondering if it's correct.
I wired everything according to it but the push/pull pots don't seem to do anything when switching.
Any ideas, is the diagram wrong / is there a better way to wire HSH with two push/pull tone knobs?

First, have you verified that the switches aren't working by gently tapping on each coil of the pickup with the coil cut engaged?

Note also, in that diagram, both humbuckers are split, (single coil mode), when the pp's are down. You pull them up to get full humbuckers. If you want to reverse that, then put the black wire above the red/white terminal rather than below it.

But still, you should hear a dramatic change when going from split to full humbucker. Do what Mincer said.

you have not connected the pots and switches to ground

This is why it has no change when switching
