Cort Hiram Bullock sig model

Guys, I am trying to find some factory info on this Cort Hiram Bullock model guitar. It's got 2 humbuckers and singlecoil, a Wilkinson whammy, roller nut, and Sperzels. Anyone have the specs on this, or the original list price? I am trying to help a widow determine the value before she auctions off a bunch of her late hubby's stuff.

Re: Cort Hiram Bullock sig model

I remember seeing the ads in old guitar magazines...it had the switch in a weird place, which I guess he specified. No idea of the price, as I've never seen one in a store.

OMG. She found more guitars and sent me pictures. There is another Cort with EMG's, a couple Telecasters, a Strat with what looks like a synth pickup, and an old Musicmaster in good shape. Oh, yeah - Les Paul Studio, dark green, with small markers. I may have to drive up there and eyeball all the stuff.

That HB model wasn't the one I remember. I remember it with a different ad, with other artists...he was in there too, holding a different guitar.

Those were all pretty nice guitars. Still kicking myself for not grabbing a used Murphy and a used Coryell that came up a few years ago.

I always wanted the Matt Murphy sig

I did find a used one of those for $499 though

Re: Cort Hiram Bullock sig model

That's the worst ad I've ever seen

:18:

Even when it came out, I was thinking that none of the artists would think that that did them any justice. I'd be upset if I was one of those artists, indeed. FYI, I've never seen any of these in a store, so I don't know what their distribution was like.

Sorry, guys - I've been a little busy. Turns out the widow has pulled all of his gear out of the basement, and I think she's looking at about five grand in gear. The Hiram Bullock was just the one he kept at the hobby store to play through a little Micro-Cube.

Ready for this? Reissue Fender Musicmaster II in great condition, reissue '52 Telecaster - made in Japan, very collectable. A matching pair of sunburst American Standard Strats - one with rosewood board, one maple. An old Bullet H-2 in sunburst. A Squier Strat with a Floyd, a Squier Tele Affinity (in blue), a Fernandes Les Paul copy that looks new, another Cort Strat copy w/ EMG's, a Fender VG Strat in sunburst, several Fender amps, a Peavey amp, buncha Rolands, a nice Crate amp, about 2 dozen effects boxes, wah-wahs, and volume pedals - mostly BOSS. Some Tascam recording gear, couple Alvarez flattops, a Seagull S-6 (very nice), and so on. Cases for every guitar, boxes for every amp and pedal. The guy was meticulous.

I contacted a local music store I know, and the staff is going to sell this stuff for her. They will take the loose parts like pickups, straps, cords, and so on for payment. This is a big load off the mind of the grieving widow, so kudos to them.
