Cosmetic Rejuvenation - LA OC Tolex

No...not that kind.

I haven't touched anything guitar related for several years and I am pulling gear out and want to start goofing off again. I have an old JCM800 head. Sounds great but is a little rough cosmetically. I'd like to get it looking new again. Can anyone recommend someone in Los Angeles County or Orange County, CA that can re-tolex and restore this head?

You should try some of GearJonser’s patented Formula 69 Amp Tolex Restorer*.


*Definitely not Murphy’s Oil Soap in an expensive small bottle.

*Definitely not Murphy’s Oil Soap in an expensive small bottle.

Tolex is peeling. Cab has wood chips. Needs a little more TLC than wipe on stuff.

I have recovered a number of headshells and cabs, and it will probably cost you less to just buy a new shell.

You can get one from Splawn in any color
