Could 10-11V (unregulated AC adapter) harm a 9V pedal?

Hey guys is it safe to run unregulated DC adapters to your pedals? I run my pedals with a few of these rated 9V at 500mA but since the pedals hardly draw that much current, the loaded voltage is a roundabout 10-11 Volts...
Could that extra 1-2 volts be harmful for the pedals in the long run?

The current draw shouldn't have an effect on the voltage output. How are you determining that the voltage output is 10-11 volts?

Not exactly G-Stv. Here's the deal: with inexpensive adapters, they match the adapter to the specific device. Ie, load. So, a simple resistor will work as a "regulator". Change the device, and you've changed the load, and thus, the degree of regulation.

The good news is, I sometimes use "cheap" flea-market adapters with my pedals. Never had either, (adapter or pedal), go south on me yet. Having said that . . . is it a $200 pedal, or a $24.99 pedal? You're probably safe, but I'll leave the gambling to you.

I've used cheap adapters for more years than I'd like to think about. Never had a problem................................................................................yet.

The current draw shouldn't have an effect on the voltage output. How are you determining that the voltage output is 10-11 volts?

The adapters come with 4 different types of ports daisy chained...
I simply measure the voltage across a different port with the pedal on...
