So I've got a strat with countersunk muting screws and I'm going to convert it to an HH with countersunk screws, as I prefer them. The problem is I don't know where to find them. I know I need 3-48 thread, but I don't know the right length for a pickguard mounted humbucker. I can't just replace the screws with the one on the strat because they don't seem to have the have the right thread. Any ideas? Would a 3-48, 3/4" screw work? The ones on the strat are 5/8" and 6-32 thread if you need to know.
