Country/Blues Type Tune

I got inspired to do something like this after listening to a bunch of Greg Koch and Jeff Miller tunes. I had never tried to play any country sounding licks before so it was a challenge. I learned a couple licks and strung this together. It was a lot of fun recording this one. There isn't a lot of guitars on here and most of leads are first takes.

haha nice and hillbilly-ish with some rudeness. Those guitars are really clean.. then the heavy solo just sings. Great feel

Those clips from The Patriot are from a lot of different sources. Some off the net, some off educational CDs I have, some off VCR tapes. It is a battle to clean them up and put them in music.

I like the clean stuff better than the lead stuff. The clean 'snappy' stuff fits more naturally.

Having said that I did like it all.

That was different from your normal playing, good parts and fun with all that clean stuff.

Thanks for checking it out. That main lead was a little tricky with all of the natural harmonics but it was fun and I like how it flows together.
