Crate XT120R 120W Guitar Combo

Hey, I need to know if this is an inclosed amp or an open amp. What are the difference in the both, sound wise, and without stating the obvious...*cough* open or closed in the back *cough*. Thanks again guys.

it's an open back. all crate combos are open back.

Well, a closed back would add more bass. My amp's open backed and it has plenty of bass

It's an open back. I have one.. and it's ok for what it is but you'll outgrow it fast; I'd reccomend waiting for something better. That's not to say I haven't gotten some really good use out of mine.. it's just that now I'm starting to realize how subpar it sounds. Then again; I've never tried the AVT, so I dunno, but I can't imagine the Crate is an improvment. I can try and post some clips of the Crate if you like..

Hey man..sorry about that; I didn't forget about ya. But, my mic is all of a sudden only recording things really quietly. I'll still work on it, but for now it's just being a b!tch. :smack:
