Crawdad Swamp

This was originally a vocal song, but morphed into an instrumental.

There's 5 tracks of rhythm guitars. A Les Paul special with Duncan P-90's, a Les Paul with Burstbuckers, a Tele with a Duncan '54, a strat with Kent Armstrongs, and a Gretsch Silver Jet.

The twangy lead parts are my Relic Fender Tele. The overdrive solo is a '99 Gold Top Les Paul.

PLAY LOUD!

Re: Crawdad Swamp

wow...there are a LOT of things going on there.....i would love to hear it with headphones on.....anyway i can download it and burn it?

great tone from the many things...and great playing!

Re: Crawdad Swamp

personally, i would get rid of the overdriven solo, the sound kinda seems out of place.....i would just have the twangy solo, more of that would be killer!

also, as most people know here, im very picky, lol, so dont feel bad. i love the tune, just that one thing!

Re: Crawdad Swamp

Chad; nice tunage. I like it just how it is. I'd love to see you add a "chorus", or "break". I think one of those is the term I'm looking for.

This tune is worthy. :)

Re: Crawdad Swamp

very nice indeed .. nice piece of arrangement to get all that in there ... the 'horn' part needs a bit of variety .. less rigid, more syncopated stabs maybe ... but the guitar work is stellar

thanks for sharing it
