I have a regular spaced 59/custom hybrid (A5 magnet) in reverse zebra with logo. It is in perfect condition with full wire. $50 Conus, $60 elsewhere.

When I ordered my first set, I asked MJ to wind a standard spaced one as a neck humbuker....its pretty sweet, has a lot of characteristics in common with my Fender strat neck single coil, but still has the power of a humbucker. Its not quite as "glassy" as true single, but the mids and lows are very similar in response.

Back on topic...if this pup is still out here this coming Friday, I'll probably buy it (the Crazy 8), I think I am addicted - and I'll have to get another guitar for it.

Its 11.22K.

As far as the tone, the 59/custom hybrid is very unique but really good. It is hard to fully explain until you try one. The best thing you could do is dig up a search on here to find out more info. I wish I could describe it better but, it is hard to do becasue it really is a bunch of different things in 1 pickup.

BTW, this one has an A5 magnet so I guess you could say it is a 59/C5 hybrid. An A2 magnet sounds really good in them too, just like the Custom series pickups.
