crazy idea due to lack of sleep

ok so i have 2 amps, 1 is a danville tec10d is decent sounding but a bit idk im sleepy an wanna take crap apart. and other is okish (fender frontman 65r) when its not a ***** on volume mostly because i have found out they used the wrong pot for volume. so my idea is to take speaker out of the fender make a cab an connect it to the danville my question is will it work?

Re: crazy idea due to lack of sleep

Why not? Your amp doesn't care where your speaker came from.
Before you start hacking away at anything, why not just get a long enough cable to let you hook the tec10d to the speaker in the Fender and see how it sounds? There is no reason to take the speaker out of the Fender amp at all unless you want to carry it around to shows.

Do you mean will that jack work if you wire it to the Fender speaker? Sure. That's the same jack most older guitar speaker cabinets have in them.
All you need is any SPEAKER wire going from the danville output to the speaker in the Fender amp. I don't know what the hookups look like for either of those amps, but you might just be able to go to a stereo store and get a speaker wire a couple feet long with female connectors for the speaker on one end and either a 1/4" jack or bare wires on the other end, depending on how the Danville output is set up. It can be really sketchy just to try it out. If you really like the sound THEN you can worry about making permanent changes like building a box for the speaker.
