Crazy New Shape

What do y'all think, going to make a new template with this shape sorry for the bad picture, more later when the template is done.

Kinda looks like the cross between a Les Paul (bottom) and an Iceman (top/horns)

Thats what I thought, but when I start carving into the wood I think it will look very different

Kinda cool, reminds me of a Dean Cadillac.

The lower part looks like an arm missing the hand. With the upper horn looking like a severed arm, your strap button will have to be at the heel.

I'd suggest drawing dozens of ideas, and bounce them all off the forum, before you start cutting.

No offense intended, just constructive criticism. Designing guitar bodies is an art and a skill, that's why so few of them are universally appealing.

Of course. This isnt the final design, i know the part on the right it where i want it, but the left is still a work in progress.

Washburn made a guitar called the "Preacher" model. Yours is a bit similar. If you take a peek on google images you will see what I mean.

Checked it out, I dont like the right horn as much but the left side I could use!
