Dimebag Wah

1) When BOOST mod is engaged VOL knob sets the volume of the toe-down position. So whilst I sweep the pedal the volume increases like a volume pedal. Right?

2) When BOOST mod is not engaged VOL knob does nothing. Right?

Slash Wah

3)

a)
When the DISTORTION mode is engaged GAIN knob sets the gain of the toe-down position. So whilst sweeping the pedal the gain amount actually increases.
b) (or is it just like stacking wah and a distortion pedal side by side. So whilst sweeping the pedal the gain circuit responses that way because of the voltage change controlled by Wah.)

Morley Power Fuzz Wah

4)

a)
When the FUZZ mode is engaged FUZZ knob sets the gain of the toe-down position. So whilst sweeping the pedal the fuzz amount actually increases.
b) (or is it just like stacking wah and a fuzz pedal side by side. So whilst sweeping the pedal the fuzz circuit responses that way because of the voltage change controlled by Wah.)

I'm surprised nobody responded to this already! Or is it a trap?

Pretty sure in all cases, the extra function (boost, gain, fuzz) level is set by the knob and just stays there when you toggle it on.

The position of the pedal has no effect on the function. It will always control the sweep of the wah.

Think of the boost/gain/fuzz as an extra stompbox that comes before the wah.

Ok I am totally assuming that last part - but I know for sure on my Dime Cry Baby from Hell the VOL knob sets the level of boost, and when you kick the boost on with that little red switch on the side, it makes the wah soooooooaaaar

Just set them to "Kirk". ;)

(Sorry, I my knowledge is more useless than usual when it comes to these pedals...)

I've got the Dime wah... As I understand your question...
then No, it doesn't make the pedal act like volume pedal. The volume boost is just a small volume boost, it's either on or off when you engage the wah.

it's not as much of a boost as they say it is either.
It's barely noticeable.
