What's the tone difference between the two? I was under the impression that they were the same? Also, does the Duncan Iommi sound anything like the Gibson Iommi turd?

The el diablo is better sounding IMO.. i like metal, and the el diablo is very powerful without being harsh like the iommi. The iommi has lots of bass and treble "ice picky" sound and is alot more scooped in the midrange, output is roughly the same. but to my ears the el diablo is a nicer pickup , unless you want melt your face off metal tone , then the iommi is for you .

I also have both these pickups, no takers? i guess Im SOL on selling mine ,I would ask $40 more for the Diablo and $20 more for the Iommi
