Here is a cover I did this evening of "Find the Cost of Freedom." Guitar rig was Gibson SG (Jazz neck) -> GT-6 -> Peavey Classic 50/50 -> (Bag End S12R-D) and (Fender Princeton 65 1x12 cab) I did two rhythm tracks, with the GT-6 set up for acoustic sim -> twin -> EQ. One was recorded with a Horizon brand mic on the Fender cab and the other was recorded with my Radio Shack mic on the Bag End. The lead was (acoustic sim -> EQ) and recorded with the same mic/cab setup, just in one take instead of two.
There are 6 vocal tracks: each harmony part recorded on each of the two aforementioned mics. The vocal melody parts are panned 20% right/left, middle parts are 50% and high parts are 75%.
Please excuse the few timing issues and the lousy lead... I didn't want to cop the original because I like putting my mark on things, so i just made that one up as I went.
Hope you like it!
