Curly makes an incredible Big Muff

Well, I've got a small box in the mail a while ago. It was Curly's version of the Big Muff Pi. I really wanted to make a demo before I post but it has been such a busy period - so this is just a big thank you to my friend from the SDUGF.

It sounds much better than the EHX Big Muff I've used to own... I'm using this one with the tone rolled back for smoother tones. However, opening the tone up takes this pedal to great crunchy metal tones... Gary's a talented guy. :friday:

And it has a blue light on it:

I recently did a version of the Triangle Muff, and did some gain adjusting of the transistors, and got a nice fuzz, without the smashed up tone that regular muffs seem to have. It retains a lot more definition.

thanks for the kind words!
I have to give credit to Madbean pedals for their 'mudbunny' muff project.
I built this to "71 Classic" specs, from a schematic and list of values posted on the net by Marc Ahlfs of Skreddy Pedals.
It has carbon comp resistors and calibrated transistors.

I got to see a few of the USACG parts guitars Curly owns. Play any of them, and you'll develop instant GAS.
