custom 30

recently got peavey custom 30, thing is awesome. lot of you gave advice on modifying it, thanks.

my next question is, anyone running an acoustic thru it, and can you give me your amp settings for it? i really suck at adjusting amps. you'd think after 7 or 8 years id have figured it out, but not evan close. :banghead:

Christ i had a pigtronix echolution delay with a 1,000 knobs and switches on it, dialed in perfect! amp with 3 knobs,forget it. godsonofa fuing thing

give me a starting point, il try to get my own thing from there. thanks

Don't try to plug an acoustic witha pickup into an electric amp...it rarely works out well.

As for dialing it in just turns the knobs until it sounds good.

to make an acoustic guitar sound like an acoustic thru an amp you need a Full Range PA type of amp... a Powered Monitor, a Keyboard amp with an acoustic guitar preamp, a pa system with a direct box, a real acoustic amp... a guitar amp is meant for electric guitars...

that being said i have used my Godin electric guitar's piezo bridge (sometimes mixed with the neck humbucker) thru my C30 with great sounding effects... it is not acoustic sounding but it is a nice sparkle lively clean sound!
