custom 5 on bridge and SH 10 on neck?

can you folks give me an idea how that's going to sound? thoughts on both clean and distorted would be appreciated..neither are in my hands right now, but on the way (i'm starting to collect so i can play) i also have the bridge full shredder on the way..

any recommendations if not to use the SH-10 on neck what to use with the custom 5...

and would it be a disaster with SH-10 on the neck? pop/classic rock/blues rock the most played stuff (and a little "lil' feat" as well)

Nah, try the Custom 5 in the bridge, and use your bridge Full Shred for the neck.
If it sounds too hot in the neck, exchange it for 59N, Pearly Gates N, or Jazz N.

thanks, G..that was what i was hoping someone would recommend..looking at the shredder, while more extreme than some it doesn't look overly extreme for my styles like the distortion..to your point as well on other options, i plan to keep an eye out for a jazz as well as a potential option.

actually, i correct what i said..you are suggesting the bridge shred in the neck? rationale on that? not challenging your opinion..just i'm a newbie to pickups,but a quick study!

i may not have been clear in my initial post that i have both the neck and bridge version of the shredder on the way as options.
