Custom A/B loop switch and a few pedal chain questions

Basically, I’m thinking about building a little stomp box that will allow me to switch between two effects loops. It’d be a box with 6 jacks in all, something like so:

1 input jack (from instrument)
1 output jack (loop 1 out)
1 input jack (loop 1 return)
1 output jack (loop 2 out)
1 input jack (loop 2 return)
1 output jack (to amplifier)

My question is this: by using a common ground I can do this with a single 3PDT (and still have lugs for an LED indicator). HOWEVER, given two loops will always be grounded, am I inviting massive amounts of noise? Obviously there’s only one loop on at a time, but the sleeves of all the jacks would be connected in both loops. I think that’s a problem, but maybe not. Would I typically want to switch the ground as well (assuming I had enough lugs)?

Would it be advantageous to have separate power supplies for each loop?

The only real reason I’m doing this is so that I can have to two pedal chains that have different flavors. Two different wahs, dirtboxes, etc.

Drop a line to Loop Master, tell him what you want and what you want it for and he can custom build you a loop to do whatever you want/need. It's not real fancy stuff but it's great quality and the prices are killer.

Ah, even better that I don't have to build it myself! Thanks! That's more or less the idea I'm looking for.

Loop Master i'm sure is much better quality stuff but i use the Boss Line Selector a lot for it's 2 loops.... it also powers pedals as well....
