I'd consider some APS-2's or Antiquity Texas Hots if you want real single coils. But the Custom Custom will likely overpower them a little. Lew

yup. any of the warmer single coils would work well, probably flat pole as lew suggeseted if you have a choice (no choice on the antiquitys but who cares, they sound amazing). with a lower output single like the aps you will have a volume discrepancy but the tone will be more open and sweeter. a hotter pup will balance better but have a punchier, less chimey tone
