Can someone give me a difinitive answer as to what the specific hole spacings are for the SD Custom Custom Bridge and the Alnico 2 Pro "Slash" Model.

I bought a couple of these used and they are zebra's so I was going to put some covers on them. Well one guy said use 1 31/32" hole spacing, measured from Middle of outside holes. Which whwn I measured looked right. That did not work. Some one else said 53MM or 2.09" that is wrong also. Now someone else has told me 2" straight up, the only proble is I can not find and covers with that hole spacing.:smash::crying::crying:

I know SD ofer cover but I still need to know the size.

I have both of those pickups installed in my guitars. They look to me to be 1 15/16". I put standard Seymour Duncan covers on both of them.

I believe you can find wiring and pickup schematics, including hole spacing, I think you choose the particular humbucker from the visual list, and underneath its' picture there are choices for sound bites, tone chart ,comparison chart and wiring/measurements. I did what many would not do, cause I like results when it is trouble to get an answer. In my particular case, I had a duncan nickel cover and a gibson pickup uncovered (or the other way around,I don't remember and it does not change the story) and as gently as I could, forced them to co-join, I don't think they liked it, and it took a long time, but when I did get the first three to snap in the rest followed.
I don't care much for jokes about my age, unless they are clever, then I like them very much, but I can't believe I have lived long enough to see someone write a sentence that ends in "Slash Hole"

All Seymour Duncan p'ups have a 1 15/16" (49.2mm) polepiece space.

The others are known as TREMBUCKERS, bridge only.

Duncan produces excellent covers for both.

If you already have covers but they just don't quite fit, you can drill each hole slightly larger and they will fit right on. The "slightly" larger holes are not noticable at all, but this is an easy fix.

I've done this several times and looking at them, even knowing that I did it, I can't tell that they are any different than the covers that were made for those pups.
