Custom Custom in a HH Telecaster

Has anyone put a Custom Custom into the bridge of a HH Telecaster (alder body, maple neck, rosewood fretboard)? I'm looking for a Hot PAF style pickup. I tend to prefer A2 magnets as I don't like the highs that come with a lot of A5 pickups. I'm hoping to smooth out the bridge tone and really push the amp.

the top end is very smooth and there is a big mid push. it doesnt have a ton of bottom end but i havent found that to be an issue in my guitars

Love the CC. I use it in a Strat, but I'd imagine that it would do the same for a Tele. Lots of mids, soft high end, sort of a loose bass. It is a divisive pickup, too- lots of people really love it or really hate it. I love it, but you do need the right guitar. Maple, ash. or alder are good woods for it. Poplar & mahogany, not so much (in my experience, anyway).
