Custom Custom/PG+ in an SG?

How would this set fair in an SG with maple fretboard, for modern hard rock? Found a good deal on a used set.

Don't know about an SG, but my maple neck Charvel with CC bridge and regular Pearly Gates neck sounds killer in all settings.

BEST SG tones I have gotten are the stock Bill Lawrence (The Original) circuit board pickups. Love em! Rio Grande BBQ/TX as well.
