Custom/Demon Hybrid

I had done some searching and read a few threads about the Custom/Demon Hybrid and like what I've read about it so far. Is there anyone else who has tried it? I'm contemplating it myself, whether I make one or order one. Custom screw coil and Demon hex coil.

A question though if I order: would it be considered a shop floor custom if I ordered it with a RCA5 or polish A5 or would it still be considered custom shop? My understanding is that shop floor custom can be done with anything that is already available for regular production line models. Is that correct?

here's what you need:

overwound Demon to about 13k. as in the OG El Diablo, or the Hot Demon.

get it with an A8

boom, you have the Arcane 'Mr Scary'. didn't think that was the case on paper until I heard it.

Sounds cool, but don't think that's what I'm looking for. Not a fan of the A8.

After reading another thread, I didn't realize in the Custom/59 that the Custom was the slug coil. I might need to rethink this. Maybe go with a Full Shred hex coil and Demon screw coil. I don't think I've read where anyone has tried that out. I want the Hex/Screw configuration like the Demon. I have a Demon in the neck slot of this guitar too so I want them to stay matched look-wise.

I didn't think A8 sounded good in the Demon, other than when split. The OG El Diablo matches very well with the Demon, for obvious reasons.

What exactly are you trying to accomplish tonally, Bro ? (Did you text me ahout this...not sure I saw it if you did..the tone part...obviously we talked about magnets from the custom shop)

Experimenting really. I really like the Demon and always dug the Custom series, other than the 5. That was meh but it could've been the guitar too. So, I thought, why not combine the two, like chocolate and peanut butter. It could be my Reese's PB Pickup. Lol.

I've done a couple Demon/Custom hybrids. I can't remember which coil I had them switch to (it's been quite a few years) but I really did like that pup arrangement...better than the C/59.
