custom gauged strings

Does anyone know where I can order custom gauged strings, or of any company that sells an 11-56 gauge set. I'm looking for a thick gauge for drop C tuning. I'm about to try skull strings 11-58 set, bit it may be a little too thick for my liking.

I think LesStrat is the one who always recommends www.juststrings.com. I'm not sure though.

Anyways on the left you see single strings, you can pick out 6 single strings from there.

You can either make custom sets out of single strings,, or IIRC DR will package sets with custom guages at no upcharge

In the UK I use www.stringsdirect.co.uk. I'm sure they ship Worldwide. they seem to have loads of singles, so you can play around with your guages. Also most shops I know stock singles of one brand or another.

I messed about with guages all last summer before finally settling on the D'addario EXL110's 10.5's or GHS Boomers 10.5's which I like equally. It wasn't initially perfection, but so close I've found the missing 9% of inspiration along the line.

I also put a 'wound 18 guage on my acoustic G-string to help bending and am not shredding the end of my fingers anymore.

dr will do it. i have them make me custom sets sometimes
