Putting together a Thinline Tele and finally decided to use this set of pickups. Any users have a cap value suggestion for me?

I've tried it and the standard .047 works for me.

Depends on the guitar......and the amp.

I've played about with a few pickups and caps......and often I have ended up with vastly different values to what is historically used.
My most recent tele I am finding it almost sounds better fully open.....having a switch that cuts the whole circuit out totally on this guitar. I'd never thought to have a tele like that, where the tone was better with no tone circuit. I have it as an option on my esquire too but hardly ever use it.

You have to play with. Fender changed values over the years and sort of settled on .047 as a standard. It’s the same for Gibson with the .022 for humbuckers. They changed values many times over the years. You have to go with what sounds right for you.

i only have the bridge pup and its on an esquire. its wired

1-tapped output w/ .01 cap for a cocked wah/pseudo neck pup tone
2-tapped output w/ tone control using .02 cap
3-full output no tone

very versatile and sounds fantastic. the #2 position is typical tele setup with volume and tone while the other two options are kinda pre-set tonal options
