Custom Shop '59 (Neck)

I've just picked up one of these for a good deal. Do any of you know what the difference might be from a regular production '59? The sticker literally just says "Custom Shop '59n". I thought I'd check here before I bother MJ or Derrick. They always get right back to me but I try to limit my emails and not be a pain. Plus they're likely to be out this week.

Hoping that some of you have ordered these or know about them. No clue what they came out of and it is not an RW/RP '59.

no idea. could be almost anything. black marker on the magnet? normal dcr?

I haven't checked the magnet for markings and I don't have a meter currently. I need to pick up a meter soon. Maybe today.

There are quite a few custom shop pickups that I don't know much about, other than the name. You probably know a lot too Jeremy. I'm not talking about the one off Custom pickups that they will wind for anyone, but there are dozens of "sets" they will wind that are just off the books.....like the Custom Shop Pearly Gates set.

I've been thinking about it for a while, but I'd like to get a list together, the best I can, that lists the humbucker sets that the Custom Shop makes but are not on the published menu. Many have fallen off, like the S-Deco. I'm not completely sure how much SD wants people to know about these off the books sets but I'd love to have some of MJ's time to ask her what sets they wind if people ask for them, without disclosing special artist only sets or other propriety information.

I think I'm going to start a thread asking people what CS sets or pickups they know of and as many details as possible. Then I could compile the list and maybe we could have a sticky thread about it, for our use here.
