Custom shop convertible bridge

I was wondering if anyone has used this to convert their strat to a hardtail, and if it is worth getting. Thanks

I saw that bridge the other day on Musicans Friend and it looks like it would answer a few peoples problems of owning a good guitar but don't like trems.... I was thinking of getting one but then backed out and thought i'd think about it more.. It still will not sound 100% like a hardtail as the wood is still gone
