Custom Shop Lil Pearly Gates?

Hi Guys! I've been a member for awhile, but I think this is my first post! Anywho...... I was look'n around on the custom shop page and saw the Lil Pearly Gates. Anyone used these? I have a Strat that I'm building up and I'd love to have a Pearly gates in the neck but I don't want to route the body out.

So far I've only come up with the bridge P/up. JB jr. any suggestions for the mid?

I'll be using this Strat for anything from hard rock to raunchy blues, so I'd like to have a bucker in the Bridge & Neck. It'll be wired for coil tap, in the 2 & 4...

Any suggestions?

They have only been listed for a little while...I'm sure that Dr. Barlo has either tried onr or thought about it! But not me...YET!!!

I don't know anything about it. I wonder if it uses ceramic or alnico 2 magnets? Lew

almost all the little buckers use ceramic mags, be cool if it was alnico

wasnt there a thing about the JB'Jr and lil'59's or something using a5 magnets somewhere around the board?

ALL the lil pups as well as the rails are ceramic...BUT MJ has done them as alnico in the custom shop

Any idea why the Lil' counterparts of A5 'buckers use ceramic?

Also, does anyone else wonder why there's no Lil' Distortion? I'd imagine the reasoning is the Hot Rails.

MJ said it was easier with ceramic...
