Custom string sets

Where do you guys get your custom sets from (if you use them)?

I've been trying to get hold of this set:

.011p (G)
.013p (E)
.022w (A)
.032w (D)
.047w (G)
.058w (C)

Nowhere has all of the strings though, they are either missing the .058w, .047w or the .022w, and I'm not about to order half from one place and half from the other...

Does anyone have any reccomendations as to where I can get these? (pref. all the same brand too).

Thanks.

Oh, btw I'm in the UK.

Re: Custom string sets

try looking at Ernie Ball's site, and see what Musician's Friend or some of the other online sites offer in the way of individual strings. I suggest MF because I've seen singles, and also I think packs of 3 gauges there.

Re: Custom string sets

I use an Ernie Ball Skinny Top / Heavy Bottom set for my stage guitars. Problem is, Ernie Ball doesn't package a set like this in stainless steel, which is what I want. So, I order packages of the guages I want in sets of 12, then repackage them myself. You might see if you can order sets of those guages from your local music store. I'm pretty sure Ernie Ball sells all of those guages that you were asking about.

Re: Custom string sets

ive had problems finding a good vendor as well. id like to have a set that starts and ends about where yours does but changes it up in the middle.

www.stringbusters.com

I ordered a custom set from them ages ago when I was playing in B standard :laugh2:

They only stocked d'darrio singles last time I looked, but they had a decent selection

I don't think I've ever seen a 47 gauge string though, you may have to go 46 or 48.

I have seen them for electric, although I can't remember where!!!

I can find .047w's for acoustic too, but just electric...

A compromise may be in order I think, thanks for the suggestions though.
