Cutting tone.

How do i get a big cutting rhythm tone? Wad EQ settings are best? for those tones I will be using a Epiphone SG special (maple/alder laminate body, maple neck rosewood fingerboard).
What pickups should i use?

Wad?... oh... "what?" lol, had me confused there. Well, obviously, you want a good dose of highs and mids in the EQ settings to cut through more. Pickups like the JB and Full Shred will really cut through too.
