I would go vintage PAF for a smoother sound to combat the highs that the metal will give you. I would suggest an Alnico Pro 2 for the neck, and a 59 for the bridge. However, a Custom/59 Hybrid would be good if you wanted more power for the bridge. Anyway, that's my two cents.
