I went to GC and got them for $2.75, half off from $5.50. I used a $25 gift card from Western Union. My goal walking in was to setup all my acoustic instruments, then saw that my regular electric strings D'Addario 11's were half off. I setup my D-28, Cordoba classical, and Dobro as well.

Just pulled the trigger on 30 D'Addario sets (MF) plus some bulk individuals. Got the bill up to $79 then applied the $10 CM2011 coupon. Thanks Jolly, I'm set for a year or two! Light tops and heavy bottoms are totally my thing, and they're NEVER on sale!

Very tempting...but I buy about 1.5 wound Gs for every set of D'Addario or EB 11's that I get. I did the math, and for 20 sets, I'd pay only $1 more per set by getting the EB 11's that already have the wound G, and 10 single strings from Just Strings. And Musician's Friend doesn't even carry the loose wound 22's, so I'd have to get them elsewhere.

Still, almost enough to make me want to go with a plain G for a while.

I can't do that, butI can show you a picture of 66 sets of strings. I was just getting all of my strings in order and putting them in one box. The total came to 66 I believe. The thing is, I've got 15 more packs of Ernie Ball strings on the way. And I'm pretty sure I have a bunch of strings somewhere here in the house that I haven't even looked for yet.

I guess I need to get off my ass and start changing some strings on some guitars.
