I just wanted to show off my Seymour Duncan equipped Strat a little. It's got a Classic Stack at the neck, Duncan Performer "White Snarks" at the mid and an SH-2 at the bridge. (HSS) I'm playing this particular song through a Mesa Triple Rectifier; mildly warm for some bluesy grit. The song is called "Damned Wrong". Take 1 part woman, one scorned man, a sweet revenge and some non-standard blues chording and you have this song. Here's the link. Please take a listen and feel free to comment; good or bad. Wow. Let me tell you something- that is one of the greatest things I have heard on this site. Just a remarkable blues vibe. I loved everything about it. That tone is just fantastic, the song is great, and the vocals are very expressive. That is just an amazing piece of music.

I also listened to the tribute to Eddie Hazel and it is outstanding also. I am going to check out more of your material. Welcome to the site!

Even when I play live with my Tri-Rec and 4x12 cab and play less than "heavy sounds", people don't believe it . (Well at least other guitarist.) From a mechanical standpoint, all amps pretty much work the same. The "extensions" of what it can do can be very diverse but the basic things can be acheived with a minimal amount of tweaking. I know lot's of guys who can make a Tri-rec sound just like a Fender Twin. Between the head and the fingers, anything is possible. The amp is just gonna' amplify the sound. I've got a Vetta combo that I almost guarantee by listening alone, you couldn't tell the difference.
