Dating Super Distortion

Ok so I figured maybe I'd bring it flowers and maybe take it to nice Italian Restaurant. But I don't wanna come on too strong......
OK NOT funny i know....
Anyways I have a cream bobbin Super D. It has black shielded wire 2 conductor and a shield ground. I know the newest ones are 4 conductor. How do I tell it it's an older 70s non potted one? I've heard there is a way to tell by the holes in the tops of the bobbins.
Any help is cool.

It should be from mid or late 80s at least. Not 70s because it has triangular ears and black wire.

Exactly what was just said...black conductor and triangle tabs mean '85-ish onwards.

Ah cool. Was hoping it was a 70s one. Those sound great, haven't had one in years. Albeit they squeal like a pig with too much gain or volume up close by the amp.
