Dave Murray Loaded Pickguard.

Hi All.

new to this forum.

Can anyone tell me if Seymour Duncan do a Dave Murray loaded pickguard to fit a Floyd Rose Tremolo. I have an Ultra Luxe which comes with the Floyd Rose you see but from what I have read the Dave Murray Loaded guard I can see available seem a standard strat fit, but not wide enough for the Floyd Rose? Has anyone made this work for a strat with a Floyd? OR is there another option that will allow me to get this configuration on my Ultra Luxe?I am not sure Fender even offer an original scratchplate for SSS configuration that accomodates a Floyd Rose Trem?

Thanks in advance for any guidance!

Welcome to the forum!

My guess is that the pickguard they use will only fit a standard USA Strat. The only options look like the color choice. So, you can either modify the pickguard, or buy another one and tranfer everything over.

Thanks for the welcome and guidance! I think I would have to buy another pickguard to fit the Floyd Rose and transfer everything. So that gives me two more questions:

1. Fender do not seem to sell an original scratchplate to fit the Floyd Rose. I know there are lots out there by third parties but is there a brand that does a quality product I should be looking for?
2. I have never swapped the eletronics on a pickguard. Is that a relatively straight forward process on a Strat? I suspect so, but am always happy for guidance here!

Thanks in advance once again!

I usually go to Warmoth for my pickguards. Because all mine are slightly different than standard spec. They do cost a bit more though. $30 I think

Warmoth has a print out template to see if theirs would fit...they have both 11 hole and 8 hole pickguards, too. Make sure you print out the template, as it is easy to have the screw holes be a little bit off. That might be common for any pickguard you get, though.
