dd in a alder body???

hi all you shreders, i have a dd(bridge), and i just ordered a alder body from warmoth, does anybody have a dd in a alder body.....how does it sound???

I've got a pair od Distortions in a Hamer Diablo: alder body, bolt on maple neck, rosewood fretboard and a Schaller Floyd. They sound amazing in that guitar. The standard description for the Distortion applies, with perhaps a little more snap to it when compared to a mahogany bodied guitar.

what is the rest of the guitar going to be? maple neck i am assuming, what kind of fretboard? bridge? anything else that might be tone altering? I don't have a dd but i thought i might help out this way. what is the rest of your setup, amp, pedals etc?
