More transparent and much more hi-fi sounding than stock and also a lot quiter. The mod kit puts these into boutique territory tone wise.
This was my #1 Compressor untill I got a prototype of the boutique Eden Analog Cold Compress Compressor from a friend of mine that builds those here locally.
This will stack up well with much more expensive units and really is a great pedal.
